I walked through crowds of people, an endless crowd. When I’d look beyond and into the crowd, the location of where they were coming from became blurred. The people were focused on their tasks in life, oblivious to my bewildered face. So I stood on the cobblestone pathway by myself, in silence. The entire area had a deafening silence, even with all the people walking, moving, and doing life—silence.

I stood. I waited. I watched. The crowds of people moved hurriedly. The pillars that were formed along the walkway looked like they came from ancient times. And the crowds of people moving wore clothes from all eras and cultures...ancient, Egyptian, Greek, modern, and more.

And then I started struggling to breathe. The air had become dense, as though the oxygen had become depleted.

I felt as though I was being watched, so I looked up. I saw a shadowy figure.
