The peeling of the heart into a creative endeavor

2

So, this extra content is an exploration and explanation of parts of my creative process. And usually, with the Red Book, I share the condensed and more rationally explored version of a vision and dream. However, in this one, I discuss a vision I had around the development of my dark high fantasy novel I’m working on…where I had a vision that produced many epiphanies about the creation of fiction and the development of my own story!

(I connect the concepts to the Oscar Wilde book…The Picture of Dorian Grey)

Anyway, I think sharing these personal journal entries around the creative process is helpful for others in their own creative journies. I hope you enjoy!

Below are some quotes that I see a relationship with what I discussed.

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” — Carl Jung

“Loneliness does not come from having no people around, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.” — Carl Jung

“The pendulum of the mind oscillates between sense and nonsense, not between right and wrong.” — Carl Jung

“Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you.”

“In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.”

With love.

Stay curious.
